Lakes - Learn to Lead

For those of you who are ready to progress and would like to start getting on the sharp end a bit more, this course aims to get you leading confidently. To get the most out of this course, you will have ideally seconded a few routes and be familiar with the basics of climbing. Based around the Keswick area, we hope to take in as many different venues as possible. Our objectives for the course look at rope work, building belays, belay techniques, runner placement, guidebook use, route choice, single and multi-pitch climbing, knots, what to carry, tying in, movement coaching and of course, climbing some routes!
